Christian nationalists are using “In God We Trust” to turn public schools into Sunday schools.

"In God We Trust" is a divisive motto that excludes religious minorities and the non-religious.

Requiring this motto to be displayed in public schools particularly excludes children, since they are the most non-Christian generation. According to a Barna Group report, 42% of Generation Z (13-18 year olds) are non-Christian.

Schools' sanctioning of religious messages leads to increased bullying and harassment against non-Christians.
